Define and evaluate the concept of linking and exclusivity (Ratliff, Ch. 18) as an important musical element across all kinds of music

Repetitive motion is a necessity for living. When it comes to live in general, we repeat everything we do almost 100 percent of the time likewise with music. For example, as a college student I wake up, shower, get dressed, go to class, go to work, go to the library to study, and then afterwards I go back to my dorm to sleep and repeat the same schedule the following day. The concept of linking in music is repetitive.

Yes, because music is great when it is often repetitive and sounds the same. I know that when it comes to listening to music for me, I love something that sounds similar or repeatable.
