2. Working Conditions

The working conditions of a Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement teacher are typically indoors in a classroom setting. Some research based work may require the outdoors, which would have to be planned and scheduled by the teacher themselves. Typically, these teachers work Monday through Friday and may be required to work on the weekends as preparation time for the upcoming week. This may differ if one is teaching a college level course, however. For example, colleges and universities often have classes scheduled all throughout the day, so a teacher of this field may be required to lecture during night classes. Most teachers and professors work as a team along with their colleagues. This job would be physically demanding as a teachers absence would have an overall effect on the students enrolled in the class.

Source: https://www.careeronestop.org/Toolkit/Careers/Occupations/occupation-profile.aspx?keyword=Criminal%20Justice%20and%20Law%20Enforcement%20Teachers,%20Postsecondary&onetcode=25111100&location=UNITED%20STATES
