I am going to use the doodlecast in my classroom. This app records your voice while your draw and allows you to play it back or send it to someone. I think parents would really enjoy getting a message of their child's drawing and seeing the process of how they made it.

What a fun site!  This is a fantastic site that uses Illustrators and animators from all around the world to illustrate a story that you write yourself!  The children I currently teach might not use this personally but I could very much see the 3rd graders I was just with create some wonderful adventures through this app.  
In my classroom I could create social stories that would help with social situations we are having.  I could uses kids names that would personalize it. How fun!

could use this site.  There are many things you can do from purchasing their toys to creating a short story and have it recreated right in front of your eyes.  The best part is you can forward it to a loved one!  I instantly think of my brother who is in the air force.  His kids could record their stories and drawings and send it to their daddy so he is part of their world.  I came across their philosophy and part of it states:We believe kids learn best through play. We believe kids should experience a little magic! This resource is great because it gives children the opportunity to read a wide variety of books that they may not be able to find in their school or public libraries. Additionally, the website provides books in different genres, lengths, and difficulty. This allows the children to pick and read books that relate to their individual interests and abilities.

This website is very interesting and unique. The resource allows children to actually see stories in the form of animated short films. This type of storytelling is beneficial because it allows children to learn how they can create their own stories using images.

I love going into classrooms that allow children to go into Google earth. The kids seem to like looking up familiar places to them such as their homes, school, grandma's house, their favorite football team's stadium. Children could learn so many different concepts by using Google Earth such as direction, culture etc. because the children can virtually go anywhere they want. They could visit Japan, the great pyramids, the Statue of Liberty all on one click. Yes it's not as cool as the real thing, but it can help expose children to these topics.
