I feel that in my past educational experiences that have been significant or have helped me improve my pronunciation have been my autonomy and some teachers who have corrected and taught me the correct way to pronounce words.

In my school the experience with English and pronunciation was not very significant since the teaching was not practical or dynamic, it was basic English and even so, they did not give feedback when a word was mispronounced.

I have learned that I am a disciplined student, constant  I like to improve every day, set goals, and above all train myself to improve my level of English and the pronunciation of words that I do not know.

I feel that I can improve and learn pronunciation better through apps because I can listen to sentences and practice the pronunciation of unknown words, also through movies or some podcasts.

I have learned autonomously, watching videos of native speakers, in free courses that I look for on platforms or apps to improve pronunciation.

Goals

How do you relate the learning of pronunciation with your future goals —personal, professional, and educational? 

Improving my pronunciation is one of the goals I want to meet to have good communication with other people.

- Personally, having good pronunciation can help me relate to other people, learn about their cultures.

- Professionally, the pronunciation will open doors for me to get a good job, grow cognitively and acquire new knowledge.

- In education, pronunciation allows me to share my knowledge with the children of my practices teaching them the use and correct pronunciation of words that they do not understand so that they can improve their listening skills.

It may be a lack of dedication or time. However, by putting in all my effort and practicing I can improve my pronunciation.

Do you consider pronunciation is important? Why? Explain your answer considering your teaching career and personal life.

The pronunciation is very important and more in the teaching of English or even in the teaching of another language, because if the words are mispronounced, this causes that there is not a good communication with other people and that they do not understand what they want to express. . Therefore, it is essential to pronounce consonants and vowels well and more so when you are a teacher because students follow our example and must be given correct information for their learning process.
