Krause (1997) states that leadership is controlling events, directing a course, and the ability to complete a job by using the skills and abilities. I was able to use my skills to carry out activities in PALS which lead me to achieving some of my goals.

The letter of the month was "T". All the children had an activity book based on this letter. Included in this booklet was the image of a turtle which gave me the idea to create a turtle for the piece of art work. In the classroom there were six students and four staff to assist with this art activity. I found it difficult to ensure all six children were engaged. This particular class need a lot of help with fine-motor skills therefore when our attention was placed on four students two students were left to their own.
