The highlighted information directly from the government website on CTSS resonated with me because it states, “...even gifted and high achievers,” should be included in the umbrellla of concepts for CTSS. A lot of the time, during this module I learned about the importance of creating a learning environment that includes special education/ learning impaired students as well. However, I did not think to also make sure my class will be challenging and appropriate for my gifted and high achaiving students. Just yesterday, master teacher reminded me to make sure I have additional activities for gifted students as well. This was something that I never even thought about. It’s really important to be prepared for any needs of students that walk through your classroom.
Uses
