The person who created the first tank was lancelot de mole. The reason tanks they were created was means to break the stalemate on the Western Front. Also the tanks inspired terror, rolled over barbed wire, and provided important firepower to the infantry with their machine-guns and artillery pieces.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Th first flame thrower was created in 1901 the person who created the flame thrower was Richard Fiedler. They invented it for burning up there rival and take them out quick. On July 30, 1915, flame throwers  were used effectively against British positions to flush soldiers out of their trenches and into the open. Today science has created smaller flamethrowers that can be hand carriered and reach longer range. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>On April 22, 1915  the first poison gas was launched German artillery fired cylinders containing chlorine gas in the Ypres area, the beginning of gas attacks in the First World War. Other nation rushed to create there own very gas or poison. The way it affected the war was by the soldiers dying to the gas in toxication. </div>]]></description>

Since they had machine guns on the aircraft shoot their rivals from above. The early aircrafts were flimsy with light wood and fabric and wires 80–120 horsepower engines used in 1914 produced top speeds of 100 mph or less; four years later speed had nearly doubled.  </div>]]></description>

The frist rifle in the 17th century. 1610, artist, gunsmith and inventor Marin le Bourgeois the first flint lock for king Louis XIII of France. The way the rifles changed the war was every body had chance to kill instead of fighting with swords and getting shot while charging towards the rival and they end up dieing.</div>]]></description>

The reason they laid bared wire is to defend trenches but they also crated traps or areas for the people can be trapped and slaughter.  AT first it was designed to pen livestock in the 1800s. to be to defend area and for person so prisoners wont escape. The way it affected the war was by people getting really hurt and soldiers had to watch there step since they cab hurt and die . </div>]]></description>

The person or people who created the mines were at Augsburg in 1573, three centuries after the Chinese invented the first pressure-operated mine.
