I have now finished the Handbook of Knots. I would totally recommend it. I learned so many useful knots, and the diagrams are helpful and easy to understand. the book had a wide selection of Knots for all purposes, including decorative and practical.
I think This book was a great way to learn knots The author even gave me a table in the beginning of the book to tell about all the different rope materials. this is so helpful to figure out what to get, and a great way to give more information.

This is just a series that I picked up off the shelf and decided to read, because it looked interesting. I actually ended up liking it a lot. The way the author wrote it was so funny, and really relatable to my life. I love reading a book that I can actually relate to, it makes me feel like there are other people out there who understand me. For example, the main character, named Gary, is just this teenage guy that likes to eat sandwiches and read comic books. That describes me so well that I just immediately liked this series. Of course, Gary is also a superhero, but that doesn't make me feel bad, it just makes it a lot more interesting to read. This just goes to show that a book picked up off the shelf might end up being something that you really like, and unlocking a whole new series of books.
