Hi! I'm in grade 10

Here, are three things I liked about the book :

1. I liked how the book describes about the main setting the laughing valley. Though It was surrounded by the caves of the Daemons, it stood firmly apart from all the evils. It gives us an idea that the tough or evil things will tend to stay around us like the caves but in that situation also we should make our way and infuse ourselves with optimistic ideas.

2. Things were descriptive and precise. It made clear both the perspectives, the evil as well as the good.

3. It was adorable how the five Daemons reflected upon themselves and gradually accepted their blunder of kidnapping santa Claus. It tells us we should admit your faults and take the path of self improvement and awareness.

Here is one thing I did not like about the book: I suppose the book lacks a satisfying ending like it does not records about the children's expression after getting their gift. It would have been more pleasing.

My favourite character from the story was THE KIDNAPPED SANTA CLAUS for sure because when he was caged by the Daemons he did not become restless instead he filled the Daemons heart with compassion till his departure. It inspires me too, to calmy deal with any situation. Also , it encourages me to become a person filled with devotion for my work, procure good state of mind, most importantly spread love wherever I go as the Santa did.

What I learnt from this book :

The book correctly compared the negative feelings like hatred, envy, malice, repentance to the Daemons as they are actually Daemons which uproot our inner strength and fill us with negative ideas. Instead like the Santa we should be a person who is devoted to his work. We should let go the negative thoughts and stand firmly with the positive thoughts. Like the Daemon of repentence looked upon compassion hidden in him. We have both the feelings mostly positive feeling hidden behind the clouds of darkness , we should search for the feelings which can benefit ourselves and others.

This small practice of seeing ourselves and others as the divine Himself. We can make our soul pious.

The thing to note is: DIVINITY lies in SIMPLICITY (simplicity means without arrogance, without the feeling of the superior and inferior, being generous, having devotion).

One should CELEBRATE their pious SOUL and POSITIVE NATURE i. e. LOVE residing in the world.
