The grant team includes faculty from the Educational Leadership and Computer Science departments at East Carolina University. We are working with two art teachers and a music teacher to integrate computational thinking into art and music classes. We began with teacher training via a MOOC on computational thinking and attendance at a conference on Design Based Implementation. This program also incorporates a strong entrepreneurial component and will develop students into future STEM business leaders who will not only participate in the STEM workforce, but also contribute to the expansion of a STEM based economy.
