One of the songs we read about Cristinna Rossetti is "Island man" this focuses on the cultural identity of a man from the Caribbean who suddenly wakes up in London, what I liked the most about this poem is the contrast that she makes between the two Man's lives, that is, life on the Caribbean beach and life in the city of London, this also shows a cultural split that the character of the poem experienced. I really like how she uses literary techniques to represent this idea of ​​contrast as she is imagining that makes the reader imagine what the character is feeling this she does through sensitiveness , sound, which later has an emotional consequence on the reader.
