Founding date:Mochie & Brownie was established in 2024 by 7 students who wanted to try to sell something rare and unique.

Product line:Mochie & Brownie is Soft, chewy rice cakes filled with a variety of flavors, from classic like matcha to modern favorites like Nutella Strawberry, Cadburry,Biscoff,Batik milo,Batik Horlick and Redbean. Each mochi is handmade using premium ingredients to ensure the perfect texture and taste.

Running Desserto, a business that specializes in selling mochi and brownies, has been an enriching and rewarding experience. My role encompasses a variety of responsibilities that have allowed me to develop my skills and contribute significantly to the success of the business.

One of my key responsibilities is managing customer orders. I ensure that all orders are well-organized, act as the intermediary between customers and the delivery team, and allocate orders efficiently. By leveraging my spreadsheet skills, I have introduced better organization and streamlined the order management process, which has greatly improved our operations.

In addition to handling orders, I am also in charge of managing Desserto’s Instagram account. I post engaging content, run promotions, and interact with our followers. During Christmas, I spearheaded a special promotion campaign on Instagram, which was well-received and boosted our sales. I also designed marketing posters for Desserto, which I shared in various groups and with friends to expand our reach and attract more customers. Beyond operational tasks, I have contributed many ideas to enhance the business, such as creating special promotions for holidays and introducing bundle sets of our products.

Overall, I am proud of my contributions to Desserto. From operational management to marketing and strategic planning, I have played an active role in driving the growth of our business. This experience has not only strengthened my skills but also deepened my understanding of running a business effectively.

One of the biggest challenges I faced was managing time and resources effectively. Balancing various tasks, from marketing to customer service, required strong organizational skills and prioritization. However, overcoming these challenges has made me more resilient and resourceful.

I also discovered the value of building relationships, both with customers and other businesses. Networking and collaboration can open doors to new opportunities and insights.

Overall, this experience has deepened my passion for entrepreneurship and reinforced my belief in the importance of hard work, creativity, and continuous learning. I look forward to applying these lessons as I move forward in my business journey.

This is my first time handling or do buisness. Although I dont have any experience doing it, but my groupmate help me alot. Thanks to them I can learn more about buisness. This buisness teach me the struggle of not having any customer but we need to be patient. If we wait a little longer, eventually, customer will come and buy our product. First, they'll just buy our product to taste it but the first bite of our dessert will make their heart and tounge fell in love with it. That's why so many customer repeat their order. I think this buisness is a big opportunity for me to learn and start my own buisness.

1. Receive customer's payment - I received customer's payment for the product they bought from the business via online banking or cash. Hence, I hold the sales of the business. At the end of each week's sales, I will give the seller her profit from the weekly business. At the end of the business, I will the divide the profit earned for our group among the group members.

2. Financial reporting - I keep records of the sales earned weekly, like bought from the business, the products they bought and the total price that each customers have paid. I do counting on how much I should pay to the seller weekly, how much profit do the group earned weekly and the total sales of that week. I also did weekly financial reporting to ensure that there is no financial loss.

   According to this report, it also enables me to oversee the weekly financial status so that the business demand will be consistent each week in order to obtain at least consistent or increasing financial flows. I discussed business strategies, like doing sales or promotions with the group in times where I noticed that the weekly sales of the business is stagnant or decreasing.

I learned that doing a business is not easy and we need to incorporate a lot of strategies especially based on marketing to always meet the latest trend and customer demands. Effective marketing is crucial especially in a business where you sell products because it can tremendously affect customer's desire for the products.

To sum up, this business is not a one man's job. I learnt to appreciate my group members for all the tasks and their contribution they have done. This project involves a lot of effort and work so I am glad that they are there to help lighten the burden so that we all can come up with a valuable yet quality outcome of work for this project.

I have also found myself liking handling a business. In the future, I can see myself as having at least one business as my passion project or I am open for it to be my entire career in the future. Through this project, I found that I am passionate in delivering quality products to customers to satisfy any aspects of their needs.

Beyond customer service, I also contributed by supporting my teammates in other areas of the business. Whether it was brainstorming marketing strategies, assisting with inventory management, or helping out during busy sales periods, teamwork played a significant role in our success. Balancing these responsibilities required adaptability and time management, but it also allowed me to develop a deeper understanding of different aspects of running a business.

This experience has been a valuable journey of personal and professional growth. It not only strengthened my problem-solving and interpersonal skills but also showed me the power of collaboration and mutual support in achieving our goals. I am proud of what we’ve accomplished as a team and look forward to contributing even more to Desserto’s success.
