The first conference was successful but in the second one it was it didnt go well because Ghandi said that i am going to only talk about hindus not muslims which made Quaid-e-Azam angry then the third conference mr jinnah did not attend it

The Simon commission was the main cause for the round table conference since there was no talk of any Hindu Leader in the commission, the Indians full out declined it even though it wasn't even declared yet. So Simon suggested to organize a round table conference in London with all the Indian leaders.

Although they did make some progress by giving minorities a chance in politics (Untouchables,Sikhs etc) but it didn't go anywhere, as I said before since Gandhi and the all Indian national congress stayed stubborn and refused to help.

The minorities were not helped as of yet but they did get noticed instead of shoved aside which is a step forward for the Indians.

Since they didn't really accomplish anything in the round table conferences so it wasn't beneficial, but it did show the people of India how these types of things work. Also most of the leaders didn't show up so most if not all of the changes they wanted to do.
