Ideally, what do you value in a digital tool/program that you can use with your students, whether in centers or whole group? Not necessarily a specific program but what would the best program provide for you and your students that you would want them to use it? There is no wrong answer!

I would like an interactive tool where I can have prepared lessons but also be able to grab lessons from a bank for “teachable moments”. I want students to be able to come up and touch and move pieces. Not just look at Google Slides. I want to be able to access/link these touchable lessons within my Google slides, not have to change inputs so that everything is seamless. A teaching board that is on a different Internet so that there is no buffering. A tool that automatically activates the pen when students or the teacher picks it up. Thank you.

I would love to see a platform that is easy to navigate and is engaging. Right now, I have countless hours just trying to find activities that are grade appropriate and engaging at the same time. We have so many digital tools already however, it is sometimes overwhelming. As a new teacher, I often forget that we have so many resource and really do not know how to use most of them. I would love to have one to two tools that would cover it all and is easy to navigate for both myself and my students and be engaging. Students learn when they are having fun!

It needs to be something that can be used across content areas. That being said, it needs to be something engaging but not something I am going to need to stand over their shoulder to make sure they are not just playing.

If there is some instructional support for students, that would be great (like videos that help them when they get stuck since I can't be everywhere helping everyone). We are privileged to have so many resources; however, the amount we have is overwhelming and I don't use most of it.

Not being able to move things around on the View Sonic is aggravating, switching to Cast is time consuming (and sometimes the keycode doesn't work), and putting multiple YouTube links on a Google Slide causes a malfunction (after opening one link, the other links just have the death spin and the Slide has to be refreshed).

I definitely like the students using Clever. I'm trying to make it more seamless so I'm creating resources for k-2 that will feed into what they will do in upper. Also, something that will track progress they are making beyond just one class since I teach the whole school. Haha!

I really like that seesaw allows me to search for activities, create my own, or assign by group so that I can work with specific students on specific skills, but I feel like it's lacking a presentation mode that would make them excited to share their work. I also would love a tool for 3-5 that allows for creative expression the way Seesaw does. Paid version of Padlet would be great :)

Teachers don't really have time to go figure it out on their own without some guidance. Seesaw really is a great tool that can be utilized K-5 to showcase learning. My ideal program would...allow students to document learning/understanding through text, picture, video, drawing; allow me to give assignments they can complete independently; and allowed differentiation to meet the needs of each learn; and be easy to use/implement!

Definitely differentiated programs that are responsive to each child's needs, as well as data that is useful and teacher-friendly.
