Doing a little digging I found some interesting papers and stats on this. There are many observational study out there, often seeing the same thing. Obese people have a higher risk of getting certain types of cancer. The exact science behind it still remains elusive, but there are multiple factors involved that it will be a difficult and long journey to piece all the puzzles together.
