I captured this photo regarding the signs of inflammation from Robbins and Cotran Pathologic Basis of Disease.
It says about loss of function as the fifth clinical sign. (under historical highlights)
But, the book doesn't seem to provide further information regarding this.
Just as an additional knowledge.
If Dr would like to have a look at the book, then maybe I can borrow from the library and let you have a look ;)

I would like to ask for your take regarding medication allergies under the topic of eikosanoid, hormon autokoid. What medication would a medical prescriptor give to the patient, if a patient is allergic to NSAIDs such as ibuprofen under Cyclooxygenase COX subtopic, and also develops an allergy to paracetamol. I personally was one of it who had these allergies upon consuming both of these medicine, and I'm still finding the answer for it. Hopefully to find some answers from both my lectures and deep research.


What type of medication is usually prescribed as an alternative for pain or fever management from as biochemistry point of view? Thank you for your guidance, Dr.
