I, King James I was the first Puritan king and I was after Queen Elizabeth I. I was the first king to translate the Bible into English and we named it "King James Bible". I was honored to be a part of the founding of Jamestown; a prominent settlement in the newly acquired lands of America.

I am Olivier Cromwell, I was a military leader during the English Civil War. I was crowned the Lord Protector because of the succession in the Civil War. I also abolished the monarchy and established commonwealth.

Charles II (1658-1685)

I am King Charles II, I was exiled by Cromwell to France then came back to England after Cromwell had died. During my reign the Black Plague had resurged and there was the Great Fire of London in 1666. The arts and science flourished during my reign and the revival of popular pastimes like singing, country dances, live music, performances, and blood sports.

Mary (1688-1702)

I am Mary, the daughter of King James II, I was raised protestant unlike my father. I married my first cousin William of Orange. My husband and I Passed the English Bill of Rights in 1689 which officially limited the monarchy and also then was the inspiration for the U.S. Bill of Rights.
