This is my flat Lorax with my dog Gabe, he is considered an invasive species. When he was a puppy we rescued him from the shelter, he had to adapt to living in a nice house receiving warmth, a bed, and good food, opposite than the shelter. This relates to environmental science because invasive species are usually brought to a new environment and challenged to adapt to that new environment, they even bully the native species to the point where they can’t survive. This dog bullies me by ruining all my shoes, and I can’t survive without my shoes

This is my flat Lorax near my special puppy Riley. This lovable ball of fur is considered an invasive species. When we first got her in 2015 the first day she was home she would always try to take up the biggest space even the couchs! This relates to environmental science because invasive species are usually brought to a new environment and challenged to adapt to that new environment, they even bully the native species to the point where he (me) can not get enough sleep. now that shes five and as a full grown Golden retriever she kicks me off my bed and sometimes make me sleep on my own couch.

Shown in this picture is my Flat Lorax and a bicycle. Bicycles promote sustainability because they use much less fossil fuels and are also a pollution-free mode of transportation. Along with walking, these reduce the need to build, service, and dispose of cars. Riding bikes instead of driving cars take nothing but our own muscle power, while cars can release exhaust and greenhouse gases (which can cause air pollution) and ultimately cost more to manufacture.

Back when tylenole wasnt in everyday household, fevers uses to be something scary. One of the most dangerous emerging disease is the yellow feve which killed over 5,000 people. Tylenole wouldn't of cured a disease like yellow fever but it would of cured smaller fevers that could of saved lives back then. This related to enviornmental science because emerging diseases ususally comes from poor enviornments where there's lack of safe water, crowed dirty areas, etc.

Then it is later thrown out and the garbage trucks picks them up and dumps them into a dump where more trash is thrown into. The trash slowly gets bigger and bigger through time and sometimes are burned. But the main problem is that sometimes these trash is littered in places having more waste generations.

Humans also emit these gases in other ways. Some of these gases are methane and carbon dioxide. Although these gases help trap heat, too much heat in the atmosphere can be a problem. Global warming not only involves climate change, but result in extreme weather issues, rising ocean levels, and more.

This picture of my flat Lorax was taken by a trash can filled with waste. This waste ends up in dumpsters where most wind and water will blow it away into other areas creating pollution. Although waste generation may seem detrimental, some waste such as vegetables and fruit peels can end up in ares where vegetation is plentiful, giving them nutrients and also further advancing food generation.

As shown in my photo, there is a Crow hanging on the side of a building. This bird loves to go around eating anything it sees, especially off base where the trash is exposed in the open. This relates to environmental science because these kinds of species that invade can be very annoying to deal with sometimes. Though they don’t really harm us, they do destroy the things we try to maintain.

This is my Flat Lorax on top of my trash can. This represents waste generation because I just took my trash out yesterday & it’s already full again. The human population produces so much waste every day & it’s hurting the environment by just taking it and dumping it somewhere. This relates to environmental science because trash dumps are taking up land and producing so much waste is hurting the Earth and environment.
