I believe that even though they were ordered to carry out the mass exterminations, they could have questioned it and tried to either stop or slow down the orders, but instead they did nothing so yes they did have a part in it.

If they were to say anything they would get into a lot of trouble or thrown into a concentration camp themselves 

Hitler was the main reason that the Holocaust started, he expressed the hate he had for Jews and started a war with that hate. If Hitler did not want the Jews dead, many things would have turned out differently.

I feel like the German Citizens aren't very responsible because they didn’t know what Hitler was going to do when they voted for him. They had no clue of his plans and now I am betting that they regret giving him that vote.

They still ended up exterminating a lot of jews and other groups of people

I don’t know how the Jews that did not try to escape would have somehow been responsible for the Holocaust, it was probably good at some points that they didn’t try to escape because that would have made things a lot worse than they already were.

Hitler was the main cause, he was the one who wanted all jews, gypsies, and gays exterminated.

I believe no matter what others say, that the SS officers had a part in causing the Holocaust because they were the ones that executed the “Final Solution” which destroying all of the Jews, even though the SS officers worked under Hitler and had to obide by his rules, they are still somewhat responsible.

I don’t think that the Non-Jewish Europeans had a part because they made the right choice of not of Jewish Sympathizers because they were right, they would feel imprisoned and stuck and not know what to do with themselves. It may have been rough that they turned against their Jewish friends but they made the right choice.

They were in support of Hitler’s decisions and knew the outcome of him going into office.

Nobody wanted to speak up about Hitler, the ones that did not speak up were definitely partially involved. Especially the Leaders of the Allied countries could have spoken up just like the Churches could have, everyone thought that their voice would change anything, some may have been right but others could have helped and didn’t because they stayed quiet.

The jews were to scared to leave it isn’t their fault that they didn’t escape because if they did they would end up getting shot.

The Churches could have spoke up and intervene when they were confronted with evidence, but they did not. They kept quiet and they could have changed multiple things that had happened or at least tried to fix some of what happened.

They were in support of the “Final Solution” and also helped design what was going to happen to the groups in the concentration camps.

I believe that there was a lot that Yahweh could have done, there was many ways that he could have not seemed absent and involved himself in the destruction of the Jews, speaking up is the biggest thing that could have happened.

They were afraid of what would happen to them and for that you can’t really be mad for protecting themselves and their families.

They didn’t know when to attack and also didn’t have the evidence right away.

They did have evidence of what Hitler was doing but turned a blind eye to the problem.

It is not the religions fault you can’t blame religion for someones actions and beliefs.
