When I started my role in PPI in early 2019, I never imagined we would experience a global pandemic that exposed societal and health inequalities. In this time, the NIHR PPI leadership changed hands (INVOLVE to CED)- issues have remained, challenges have persisted…and yet here we are. Surviving? Perhaps. Flourishing? Maybe. But we are still here.
