I work with grades 5-8. My passion is connecting children with books and helping them develop a love of reading. I teach a 5th grade Media Literacy class and all 6th graders a Research skills class. I collaborate with many teachers in my building. We are a GAFE school, and use chrome books. I am looking to move my Media Lit curriculum to a google site and use some new tools to Googlify it. My husband and I have 2 grown daughters, and are enjoying the empty nest stage of life :).
