* Luis: Yes! It happened a few months ago when we decided to go out for dinner after class. We chose a new restaurant called Deleite Garden in Ciudad Montes, Bogota.

* Laura: At first, I personally speaking thought it looked really nice. The decoration was simple but elegant, and the music was soft. I said, “Wow, this place feels comfortable!”

* Luis: I agree. The waiter welcomed us with a big smile and gave us the menus. I ordered grilled chicken with vegetables, and Laura ordered pasta Bolognese.

* Laura: The food looked delicious, and honestly, it tasted amazing! The pasta was creamy, full of flavor, and perfectly cooked. I think it was one of the best dishes I’ve had.

* Luis: Yes, I also liked my chicken. It was juicy and fresh. From my point of view, the service at the beginning was excellent — fast and friendly.

* Laura: But then things started to change. We wanted to order dessert, but the waiter disappeared for almost twenty minutes!

Overall, we felt really good about the experience—it was satisfying in every way.

In the end, we said goodbye feeling happy with our visit. I said I would definitely come back, and Oscar said he would too, although he mentioned that his soda had too much ice. It was a simple moment, but full of flavor and good company, just the way I like to remember my visits to El Corral.

To begin with, the service was slow and poorly organized. Despite the restaurant not being completely full, we waited nearly twenty minutes before a waiter came to our table. The waiters were polite but seemed distracted and unmotivated, often forgetting parts of the order and taking too long to respond to simple requests. This lack of coordination created a sense of indifference that negatively affected the dining experience.

The food, while attractively presented, did not meet expectations. The starters, especially the empanadas, were tasty and well-seasoned, but the main courses were disappointing. My bandeja paisa was oily and served only warm, while my companion’s salmon lacked flavor and moisture. The inconsistent quality between dishes reflected a lack of attention in the kitchen and poor supervision.

In my opinion, when you go out to eat, you’re not just paying for food — you’re also paying for the experience. And in this case, I felt ignored. Personally, I believe that when the staff rushes you or seems annoyed, it completely ruins the meal.

I honestly felt uncomfortable the whole time. Even though the seafood tasted fine, I couldn’t enjoy it because of the poor attention. I left thinking I would never go back there again.

Well, to my mind, the most important thing is good service.
