Holy week in Spain is the annual tribute to the passion of Jesus, celebrated by Catholic people. This is a big deal for many people, it shows people that their religion is still relevant and still matters. Almost every single street is filled with people, celebrating a certain branch of the religion. For example, on the street there is processions, bringing olive branches to church and more. For many this is a extremely special time.

If you're visiting Bolivia, youll have to go to the Salar de Uyuni, the largest salt flat in the world. It's especially breathtaking during the rainy season when it reflects the sky. Also, La Paz is the highest capital city globally, offers vibrant markets and a unique cable car system for stunning views. The ancient ruins of Tiwanaku provide a beautiful look into pre Columbian history. Nature enthusiasts would most likely love Madidi National Park, one of the most biodiverse areas on Earth. The best for last... Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake, which is perfect for exploring indigenous cultures on its islands.

If you were headed to Bolivia food wouldn't be an issue! It is everywhere and there is lots of it! One of the most famous foods there is Anticucho, a Peruvian dish of marinated meet on skewers that are grilled and often served with corn. That's not it though... there's also treats, churros, quinoa pudding and so much more. While in Bolivia, most people notice how much street food, restraunts and fast stops there are. Every corner there could be something delicious around it. My final recommendation is alfajores! A delicious cookie filled with chocolate and more typically. No one can resist the churros though.

Throughout this project I have learned a TON about a place in the world that I didn't even know about before this project. I've learned about the food, culture, dances, people, and so much more. Bolivia is a very big and cool place. Personally, I am a big fan of soccer myself, I watch it a lot and it's a connecting point with certain people in my family, when I heard of the Bolivian league, and the certain clubs it made me very interested. Something lots of people don't understand is that Bolivia has lots of political issues just like the rest of the world. Many stress and say that US is “screwed” when it comes to our political issues, but not many people know that almost everywhere in the world have some types of issues, in early September the president of Bolivia had to FLEE the country just because of the dangerous acts on a simple opinion of his. Also… Personally I'm a Christian so when I found out about Holy Week in Bolivia it sounded like something I would love to visit, food, dances, music and more. I also realized that I would most definitely visit Bolivia because of the tourist attractions, such as La Paz the highest capital city in the world with tons of culture related merchandise, food, and more. If I were there, I'd also most definitely visit Lake Titicaca , a beautiful lake that you can get to by just walking down the main street of the city. Overall, this place is extremely beautiful, and deserves more attraction. I would most definitely visit and would recommend visiting to people interested in learning more about culture, seeing nature, different types of music and more. I was happy to learn about Bolivia.
