The story is about Frank Curoso who was a WW2 veteran which is 100 years old. He went from commercial packaging to a soldier. His training took place in North africa where it was 120 degrees in the shade. During his time in the war he recalled it as very loud with a lot of different weather types from freezing to blazing hot. He also says that the biggest fear most people had was when they were done with the war in Europe they were going to get deployed to Japan. He got to meet many people in the army as well as when he retired. He got to meet other retired veterans from a lot of different branches. He is very happy now and has been married for 76 years with a wife he had 2 kids with.
