And poppy whined “please don’t kill me with your quills !“ . But latter on she found out that they only eat wood . And they became friends Poppy and Ereth and he help her get to the new house. But in return poppy has to get the salt. In the middle of the story she and her dad went to ask permission If they can move to the new house. And he said no . So poppy went to the new house so she can see what that owl is hiding. And the owl was spying on her. 

In the End of the book she killd Mr. Ocax and she made it to her house. She told everyone that porcupine don’t kill them . And how the owl was scared of the fake owl.
