Turkey has suffered about 8,000 loses as of so far due to Kurdish resistance. This has not really impacted the overall population of Kurds in Turkey/Syria area as there is upward of 15 million.

The U.S. used to help but now has pulled out and are no longer backing the Kurds. The Russians are currently backing the Syrians in their battles against the Kurds.  I think it could be resolved but after a while with agreements. I think it would take a large amount of cooperation from many countries and nations in this region. I doubt that it could last very long due to high tensions in that region.

Russia backs Syria in this case of ethnic conflict.
