For instance, both symphonies perform a Christmas show, but they also do fun and innovative shows too such as "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and one called "I heart the 80's". I think its very neat how they still play classic symphonies but they also do shows that might be considered more "fun". I personally would be more likely to attend one of the innovative shows since they seem to have at least one that appeals to everybody. These concerts would not be considered part of the canon, but they do still perform plenty of shows that are considered a part of it.
