From the people who live in Washington saying that Trumps authority is ignoring what the Washington consensus is about. People are saying that because he is ignoring the rules of the WC, he won’t be successful in his term.

This reminded me of how the Washington Consensus failed because the people are insinuating Trump will also fail. This article is relevant because it is saying that Trump doesn’t have a reasonable degree of consensus pertaining to the list of ten meaning he isn’t capable of doing these.

This article expresses that women are payed less all around the world, such as Iceland and Japan and are taking a stand for themselves by protesting for equal pay but it is still yet to come.

This article reminds me of the UN sustainable goals because one of their goals is to eventually have gender equality around the world including equal pay for women and men. Their goal is to empower all females and this article captures that women deserve the same rights as men.

There were negative inflows into Britain when the saw that foreigners were disinvesting. FDI is going down tremendously in Britain.

This article is relevant because it talks about FDI and the inflows of it as we did in class. In class we talked about FDI and short term growth having to do with infrastructure and this article touches on weak infrastructure and with FDI can come a negative structure of the economy.

This article is saying that firms become lazy without competition and they essentially lose funds for the capital. In short, they say that American should be promotion competition in the markets in order to make more money for the states.

This article is relevant when talking about free markets and what comes about when we do and don’t have them. When relating this to class I thought about Keynes because he was anti-market where Hayek was pro-market. This reminds me of when Keynes was in charge and the markets failed.
