Fair of Ideas 2.0
Today, information technologies have become an integral part of the educational process. Qualitative teaching of disciplines can not be carried out without the use of facilities and facilities provided by computer technologies and the Internet. Dmitry Lucin and his team, Garasymchuk Vasyl and Kotsuba Maxim, shared their stuff, skills and results at the Gymnasium Ideas Fair 2.0, which took place in our gymnasium on February 7, 2016. The prototype of the future gymnasium meteorological station was shown to the students. The meteorological station consists of two blocks. One of them plans to be placed outside to obtain environmental data - air temperature, humidity, lighting, etc. Another unit will be placed indoors. Information from the first block will be sent and processed there. The meteorological station will become a useful helper in the process of studying the students with the basics of work with the microcomputer, as well as conducting practical experiments in physics and geography.

For this kind of activities there are no logistic difficulties nor costs for the school.

I think in my school we can organize different kind of events - sometimes single events, sometimes programs or projects. Most of the time, we need to partner with other institutions, like universities, centers of research, etc. And our main difficulty is the fact we "stole" time of classes (" - subjects? what about the exams?!") for implementing this events.

In our experience, we have been evolving from Individual Talks or speeches at each school, to the so called OPEN DAYS AT UNIVERSITIES. I think the last one is very appropriate. During week ends, dozens of professionals attend in different stands to students and families, talking personally by turns.

In that way, hundreds of students every year can select the careers that like most, to clarify their doubts talk with specialists for some minutes, in that kind of Careers Fair.
