In order to elevate "Autonomy, Mastery and Purpose" we can use in our classess "Wizer", "Flipgrid" , "Skype in the classroom" and "Different Speaking Apps" in the following ways:
"Wizer me" - By creating worksheet to our students it will increase the students overall engagment. It will increase their mastery, if the worksheet is too hard we can adjust their next assignment by removing one question or two.
"Flipgrid" - un this platform the students get freedom anf flexability to work on something on their own ant it will lead to drive and creativity, in other words they will ger their autonomy. They should present the products in front of the class. In addition, when the teacher gives them instructions for doing this kind of task it will fill them with a sense of purpose.
The same thing is with "Different Speaking Apps", usinf these Apps will increase their mastery and their autonomy, when they need to respond to their friends and to create something on their own.
Using "Skype in the classroom" will fill them with a sense of purpose becuase the purpose is given to them - to win the game by asking question. it will lead to work team, they are fueled by sense of freedom. We give them information tools and supplies and they will work on this project in order to win the game - purpose.

Hamutal
Elevating Autonomy, Mastery and Purpose can be achieved to different degrees using apps like Wizer, Flipgrid, various speaking apps like Voki or Skype.
Wizer worksheets with quite a few types of activities show a kind of flexibility within a framework that enables students to evaluate how well they know the material, what to focus on in order to master it better and what they need to invest in, so as to improve. This can be achieved individually, in pairs or small groups. Furthermore, it can be self-paced within a specific pre-given time frame. What is important to take into consideration, is the level of the activity required which should be just a little above their current level.
Flipgrid – more autonomous but requiring mastery and purpose too, enables students to be creative and innovative when they choose their own subject with the intent of sharing and communicating with others in a way that will be comprehensive and beneficial to both parties.
This can similarly be achieved when using other speaking apps we have learnt like chatterpix or vocarroo where students get the chance to choose items under an ‘umbrella’ subject like ‘movers and shakers’ of the 20th century or ‘music’, share their acquired knowledge with their peers, at the end of which they gain a sense of accomplishment and a good grade.
Skype in the classroom gives the student the motivation to work together with others in order to reach a pre-given goal. How they do it, or what they use in order to achieve their goal is up to them, within reason. Thus, we can see once again, autonomy in choice of means, mastery in utilizing means and purpose in reaching goal for the benefit of all.

How can we elevate motivation by using different tools?
1.	“Wiser”- can be used to offer a review or summary for a unit that was learned. This tool invokes motivation among students by: A. providing autonomy- students can work on the worksheet from home or school, on their phones or computers, do it all at once or think about it and finish us later. They can choose which question to answer first. B. Mastery- students are practicing exactly what they were taught in class. Because this tool is easy every teacher can changes things around to fit their learners and match their Wiser worksheet to what they want learners to practice. This is not a print out sheet that cannot be changes, or a Kahhot that you got from someone else. This tool is made by the teacher directly and fairly simply. C. Purpose- Once students see the direct correlation between their class learning and the matching worksheet they feel full of purpose
2.	“Flip Grid” - This tool can be used every unit to allow students to practice speaking. This tool creates motivation among students by: A. providing autonomy- students can record from anywhere and any device at any given time. B. Mastery- students are speaking at their own level. They can choose to write up their script and keep it to the minimum required, or they can speak spontaneously. C. Purpose- by choosing a topic that is relevant to the students’ lives they are authentically motivated to speak.
3.	“Skype in classroom”- This tool can be used a few times in the year and requires some pre-planning. It can be used to encourage students to speak because of its super authentic content and relevancy. This tool is great because: while not providing tons of autonomy, students do experience Mastery but moreover they have authentic purpose.
4.	“Different Speaking Apps”- these tools are interesting, new, modern and appealing to children and adults. By using such apps appropriately we are achieving the wholly grail- which is providing students with opportunities to practice speaking in from a very safe zone. If we ask the correct questions we can allow for so much autonomy, mastery and purpose that every student can be inspired to speak.

1. I love the sense of autonomy that wizer.me provides students. They are able to work independently; making their way through a variety of diverse and engaging activities that not only motivate them but give them a sense of achievement and purpose. Wizer.me is also a terrific tool because the student can achieve instant feedback which gauges his/her mastery of the material.
2. Flipgrid is another terrific (speaking) tool that allows students to prove their mastery of material in an autonomous way. it is user friendly and allows the student easy access while not entering a dangerous forum on the internet. I really like the idea behind this tool because not only does it provide a way for students to exhibit their speaking skills but if they are extremely self-conscious and nervous about speaking publicly, this enables them to send a private sample. 3.Tools such as Voki, Chatterpix, toontown, etc (other speaking tools) are engaging and motivational speaking tools that encourage speaking and expression in a fun and creative way. Students are motivated to use these tools because of the user friendly techniques as well as the fun and creative technological challenges they offer . 4. Mystery Skype is an excellent media that offers students the ability to elevate their skills too. They are motivated-they have a purpose to win the challenge so they are going to work harder to master the skills required of them. Mystery Skype also provides students the opportunity to work cooperatively or autonomously or both; where they can formulate their own questions and dialogue as well as conducting their own research. This activity allows for more independence which helps to foster increased self-confidence.

Autonomy
Freedom and flexibility within a rigid frame work is the essence of autonomy. Motivation can be elevated by autonomy when teacher allows pupils the choice to choose one task out of several options. In Flipgrid, for example, the teacher may present 4 different speaking themes and the pupils have the choice to choose their favorite one. Similarly, on Voki and other speaking tools, motivation is elevated by autonomy when teacher allows the pupils their theme choice furthermore, in these speaking tools autonomy is manifested when pupils have the choice to design the characters as they wish.

Mastery
Goldilocks work zone creates mastery. Motivation can be elevated by mastery when tasks aren't either too easy or too hard however, just above the current skill level of the student. On Wizer teacher may assign a basic task format for the whole class together with extra tasks for strong pupils and less tasks for weaker pupils. On Flipgrid and other speaking apps different speaking level tasks can be assigned separately according to the pupils skill level.

Purpose
Pupils need a purpose to learn. On Mystery Skype the purpose is winning the game. On Wizer the purpose is to achieve high scores. On other speaking tools, when the teacher allows the pupils autonomy by choosing the task of their choice it may elevate the sense of purpose.

The use of apps in teaching elevates a sense of autunomy, mastery and purpose. The pupils get the opportunity to practice until they are self cofident and mastered the topic. They have the opportunitty to be self educators and follow their mistakes. They can use the language in real life situations and the learning comes as a background player.
Wizer increases the feeling of achievement. The teacher builds worksheets that are suitable to the student's level- not too easy and not too hard; on a level of production but yet a little challenging. The pupils can repeat the worksheet over and over until they fill they have mastered it.
Flipgrid and other recordong apps give them a sense of autonomy when they chhose the output (icons, background, avatar...), and also when they elaborate on the teacher's topics. Pupils that are timid can write their thoughts down, practice it over and over until they are confident with the outcome.
Skype gives them a true purpose of speaking English as a tool of communication. The opportunity to meet other students motivates them to work together and ignore the barrier of the language.

Autonomy- flexibility, self-learning, choice, opportunity… all together are the ley words for creating an autonomy environment in class that can encourage students to learn English. "Flipgrid" is a great example for a tool that allows students to work on something of their own, in their level and with a partner of their choice. This app elevates freedom and flexibility by recording themselves at school or at home any time they want.

Mastery- boredom and anxiety are concepts that every teacher must be familiar with, in order to adapt the task to the student's knowledge and ability. The teacher must know how to integrate the material learned in class in a task that on the one hand will challenge the student just enough not cause him frustration and lack of success, and on the other hand won't make him bored. Using the "Wizer" tool the teacher can create a worksheet that will be tailored to the student's abilities. You can also create the worksheet in such a way that the tasks will start from the easy task to the difficult task. In addition you can let students choose which tasks to do.

Purpose- Providing the students with a sense of purpose in learning English is very important. Once the students will understand the meaning and what it can gain from knowing the language, they will be motivated to learn. The "Skype" project is a wonderful tool, which the students can immediately feel they have a purpose in speaking English. That in order to win the game and also to be able to interact with students from all around the world.

The use of "Wizer", "Flipgrid" , "Skype in the classroom" and "Different Speaking Apps" elevates autonomy, mastery and purpose. Pupils will be motivated to talk in English and work if they find the task interesting and relevant.

Wizer is a fun, colorful, easy to use and interactive way for pupils to do worksheets. Flipgrid is an example for a talking task. It gives the pupils an opportunity to practice talking and presenting a subject or answering a question without standing in front of the whole class. Flipgrid helps each pupil build confidence in talking and it also allows the teacher to evaluate each pupil in class which is harder to do during a lesson.

Different speaking apps such as Voki and Toontastic makes learning interesting and different. Pupils create characters and a story. When making movies or characters that talk, pupils need to write dialogs or monologues. they practice writing and talking while preparing the movie.

I think pupils will like "Skype in the classroom" because it's like a game trying to guess the other school's location. They will also be exposed to a different culture which I think will be exciting and interesting for the pupils. the pupils will ask questions they understand and know, this will build their confidence in talking and using English.

Mastery, as well as, purpose and autonomy can help raise pupils' motivation. Pupils find it easy to connect to the different subjects learnt in class when using digital tools. creativity occurs when using autonomy. pupils are able to be the ones choosing the topic and makes them use communication skills while working or presenting. For example when using ChatterPix - pupils are given the freedom of presenting their work in a creative and subjective way. They can use a character or even an item and give it their voice and thoughts.

I really liked Flipgrid because when using it, pupils are able to give and get feedback. Nowadays feedback seems to be very necessary for 21st cen. pupils.
The Mystery Skype activity encourages pupils t communicate, ask questios as well as work as a team.
When using Wizer the teacher can create a variety of tasks for pupils of different language levels. This can help improve different language skills by using different assignments that match each pupil's weaker skills.
