"      The story takes place in New York. Charlie Gordon who is longing to get intelligent. So Charlie volunteers to a test to get intelligent, and all it takes is to take one, simple operation.

   His eyes finely can see again, the operation is complete. Now its just a matter of time that he will gain his intelligence. Charlie starts to take his tests again, he races Algernon. For the first time "I beat Algernon! " It shows his intelligence is growing! 

Charlie Gordon finally manages to become more intelligent than the doctors. What do you know!Sadly Algernon died with the same medication Charlie has. Charlie gets concerned, he finds out that the medication starts to dissolve.
