         <description><![CDATA[<div>Part A: 1.6(65.49)= $104.78<br>Part B: Micheal should not have added the price again, as that would be 200%, he would need the price only once and instead multiply it by 1.6, he also did not add tax right because he multiplied it with the original amount (65.49), he should have found the correct amount and multiplied tax with that number.<br>65.49(1.6)=104.78<br>104.78(1.09)=114.21<br>$114.21 <br>Michael does have enough to purchase a camera.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Part A- 1.6(65.49) $104.78<br>Part B - Michael's thinking is incorrect because he confused the 100% that needed to be added, to adding the original price again. This is incorrect. He should have added the 60% to the 100% to multiply the original price  by 1.6. Then when he added the tax, it should have been to the marked up price of $104.78.  <br><br>The correct steps were - <br>1.6(65.49) = 104.78<br>1.09( 104.78) = 114.21<br><br>Michael was incorrect, he does have enough money to buy the camera.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Part A: The selling price for the camera before tax was $104.78.<br>Part B: Michael added 65.49 three times, when it should only show up once in his equation. He also did the markup and sales tax on 65.49 two times, when he needs to do the markup and then do the sales tax the answer from the markup equation. The correct steps would be to do the work from Part A, also the markup, which would be:  x=65.49(1.6) to get 104.78. Then do the sales tax, which would be:  x=104.78(1.09), to get $114.21 with markup ad sales tax, which means that he would have just enough to buy the camera.</div>]]></description>
