Local Public Establishment for Agricultural Vocational Education and Training: EPLEFPA76 / NATURAPOLE. It provides school, apprenticeship and continuous training on its four campuses spread over 6 geographical sites. It has 1000 students and 1050 apprentices. Nearly 350 people work there as teachers, trainers, administrators, technical staff or operating workers. Its training is of 4 types: - lower secondary school: "professional discovery classes" for 13 & 14-year-olds - general upper secondary school - vocational training. They prepare for careers in agriculture, food processing, horticulture and landscaping, trade in garden centers and pet stores, personal services, forestry, the sawmill and eco-construction, the equine industry - higher education: 2-year-trainings in various fields

The school is involved in ecology: keeping the earth and its inhabitants healthy both physically and psychologically. The latter is important too.

Different students learn in different ways and we aim to reach them all. Inclusion is important to us. Because of this we combine technology with hands-on learning techniques. We have dedicated STEM classrooms, a science laboratory, robotics rooms and ICT computer rooms, and a team of teachers specialised in these areas. We offset the use of technology with hands-on, practical activities. We have an atelier for our youngest students to experience different sensations through play, while the science lab and stem classroom allow older students to carry out experiments themselves. We are heavily involved in environmental projects and have teachers and students dedicated to raising awareness of environmental issues. Our school director leads a team of students who work hard to raise money for less fortunate children. We run many international projects to develop cultural awareness and enhance language ability. We also have a debate team who travel to competitions around Europe.

Our students are mainly aged between 2 and 18 years. However, since we also offer vocational courses in Sport Science and IT, many new students join at the age of 18 to gain these qualifications. We are a competitively priced, city based, private school, chosen by families looking for an internationalised education. Students can choose to take the American High School Diploma and graduate with both Spanish and American certifications. Since our families make a conscious choice to join our school, they tend to be exceptionally interested and hands-on throughout their child’s education. We attract families from different nationalities, both from Europe and further afield.

Prof Dr Nabi Avci Fen Lisesi is a science school with a high standard of academic success.All of the graduate students continue their education at significant universities.The school was founded in 1991 and is located in Istanbul, where two continents; Europe and Asia meets.The school offers five years of education.Foreign language department works actively at school as students study 20 hours of English in a week.After this prep year, in later stages students take 4 hours of English classes and 2 hours of Dutch in a week. Since our school applies education in the field of science, there are laboratories where students make experiments and learn in an active way. We also offer art and music classes in order to provide our students with opportunities of expressing their feelings. We also promote our students and staff to participate in national and international projects.

Our students are aged between 14 and 18 years old.Since our school is a project-based school, students are accepted after taking a national exam held by The Ministry of Education.That is why students are highly motivated to be successful and eager to learn.They are glad to be in the supportive environment of our school which aims to reveal their potential.We have plenty of students' club, where our students work voluntarily to raise awareness in various social issues.

Our students are 14-19 years old.Their learning springs from various family backgrounds. Beside the normal, well- organized, emotionally and financially solid families, there are many students who confronted with numerous hardships. Some of them come from disorganized families or mono-parental families, some are migrants, coming from non-European countries and a small number of students live on the verge of poverty. Moreover, there are students with special needs whom so far we have successfully integrated in ordinary classes. We also have talented students with good competences in ITC and STEM subjects. In fact our school educational offer plan (PTOF) includes a section with projects that increase the education provided, that develop transversal skills and educational strategies to tackle drop-outs and to help SEN students.

I am Çiğdem from Türkiye. I have been teaching English to teenagers for half of my life, literally :) I am into creative drama and writing. It is great to be a part of this project. 🥰

The debates were a key learning experience for me, especially when discussing sustainability and environmental responsibility. I learned how to structure arguments, respond to opposing views and work collaboratively rather than competitively. Beyond the debates, the shared activities and trips helped us connect as a group. Ending the project is emotional, but the friendships will last.

This Erasmus+ trip taught me how important it is to listen before debating, especially during the MUN sessions on sustainability and immigration. Visiting Lecce and Bari helped me understand how culture, history and daily life shape people’s views. It was amazing to work as a team and build real friendships. I believe my ideas were indeed taken seriously, largely because I presented them with logical clarity and a professional tone, which helped establish my credibility within the group.

​If I had struggled to be heard, I think a more formal moderation system would have been beneficial. Implementing structured speaking protocols ensures that the merit of an argument prevails over the mere assertiveness of a speaker, allowing for a more equitable exchange of ideas.

To be honest, it was a bit of a challenge at first because it’s easy to get defensive when your ideas are questioned. However, I realized that different perspectives actually make a project stronger. Instead of just arguing, I tried to listen first and understand where they were coming from. I managed disagreements by focusing on our shared goals rather than who was "right." Finding common ground meant picking the best parts of everyone’s ideas to create a final result that was better than what any of us could have done alone.

Communication during my Erasmus was mostly good, although there were some disagreements due to cultural and language differences. These situations were handled through open dialogue and respect, which helped resolve misunderstandings and reach agreements. We all work together

Silvia G. Italy: I have worked with people who had different opinions from mine, and at first it wasn’t always easy. However, I made an effort to listen carefully and respect their perspectives. When disagreements arose, we worked together to find common ground and make collaboration smoother.

Sara F. Italy: working with people who had different opinions was not always easy, but it was a good experience. Sometimes I disagreed(often), but I tried to listen and explain my ideas calmly. at the end we find a compromise and work well together)

Carlotta E. Italy: I truly enjoyed collaborating with a diverse team, although reaching a common ground was definitely a challenge. When disagreements arose, I focused on active listening to understand the reasoning behind different perspectives rather than just defending my own.

Working with different ideas was suggestive because it was difficult to find a point of contact between all the people and their ideas.

Cemre Deniz B. Türkiye: It was challenging to work with people who had different options from me but with respect to other’s perspectives and thoughts and also listening to each other we always found common ground.

Nazlı A. Türkiye: There were moments of disagreement, but I understood that these differences were not personal—both groups were simply defending their interests. To manage disagreements, I focused on actively listening and trying to understand the reasoning behind others’ arguments. When presenting my own ideas, I made sure to stay respectful, calm, and support my points with clear reasoning.

Yunus E. D. Türkiye: Working with people who are from different countries was amazing for me. Listening to their opinions and the problems of their countries was thoughtful. We all had different problems but we had just one aim: make the world a better place.

I am an English teacher and the coordinator of this Erasmus+ project, with over 10 years of experience managing Erasmus initiatives. Throughout these years, I have witnessed how powerful these opportunities can be—not only for teachers’ professional development but, above all, for the growth of our students.

I strongly believe that participating in Erasmus+ projects is a meaningful way to keep learning, evolving, and bringing innovation into the classroom. These experiences allow us to connect with different cultures, exchange best practices, and broaden our educational perspectives.

Most importantly, they help us guide and inspire our students to become open-minded, confident, and exceptional individuals, ready to face a global world.

Being part of Erasmus+ is not just a project—it is a journey of continuous growth, collaboration, and inspiration.

I like scientific subjects and others like history, literature and geography.
