For this action research project I must reflect on my personal teaching practices and implantation of the curricula being used. Action research is conducted by “people who want to do something to improve their own situation” (Sagor 1992). I want to improve my understanding of the effectiveness of overall reading growth using online and traditional text book based curriculum. One of the ethical concerns I have are how are my results going to be conveyed to other parties such as my administration, parents and coworkers.
