It’s nice to meet you! My name is Danica Alquino, but my friends simply call me “Nica.”

I’m 17 years old and was born on February 8. Growing up, I was often called the "love baby" because I’ve always found joy in the simplest things. I’m currently studying at Ateneo de Davao University, taking the STEM strand under the Pre-Science track.

My siblings are some of the people I value most in my life, and I cherish them deeply. Even though we sometimes argue or tease each other, I know that the bond we share is something no one else can replace. They are my built-in best friends, the ones who understand me in ways others can’t because we’ve grown up together. Through laughter, fights, secrets, and support, they’ve always been there, and I wouldn’t trade them for anything. Having siblings means never being truly alone, and I’m grateful for the love and memories we continue to build as a family.

My best friends are some of the most important people in my life, and I truly cherish them a lot. They’re the ones who make even ordinary days feel special with their laughter, support, and constant presence. No matter what happens, I know they’ve got my back, and that’s something I’ll never take for granted. We’ve shared countless memories together, both the fun and silly ones, as well as the moments where we’ve lifted each other up during tough times. Having them by my side reminds me that true friendship is one of the best gifts in life.
