         <description><![CDATA[<div>1:&nbsp;<br><br>Individuals in military uniform should stand at attention and give the military salute at the first note of the anthem and maintain that position until the last note.<br><br>These are the people who looks really serious at government events.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>2:&nbsp;<br><br>Members of the Armed Forces and Veterans who are present but not in uniform may render the military salute in the manner provided for individuals in uniform.<br><br>Similar to the first protocol.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>3:&nbsp;<br><br>All other persons present should face the flag and stand at attention with their right hand over the heart. No talking.<br><br>This is like in school when we face the flag to do the pledge of allegiance.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>4:&nbsp;<br><br>Men not in uniform should remove their hat with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder.&nbsp;<br><br>This is respectful to the country.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>5:&nbsp;<br><br>Persons whose religion prohibit them from celebrating the Star Spangled Banner will stand out of respect.<br><br>Even though they don't agree with the Spar Spangled Banner, it is still respectful of them to stand. </div>]]></description>
