I think that everyone who has had one has experienced that kind of sincere love. Dog Island is an animated movie that demonstrates this. The story takes place in Japan after an authoritarian mayor pro-cat banishes all dogs to an island of garbage due to an epidemic of canine flu that affects them. The first deported dog is the mascot of the mayor's nephew, there begins the story of the boy who embarks on a trip to find his dog, there he will be helped by a herd of canines. In my opinion it is a very good film, with a critical vision, touches of drama and humor that make you feel moved. Also the movie is made with stop motion technique is an art that requires the work of a team of puppeteers and animators. Each character uses different masks according to their expressions, all are hand painted to the smallest details. If you haven't saw it, definitely you must watch this movie.
