This piece made an impact on me because I really liked the concept and idea behind this piece. As I walked around I saw regular art pieces but as I saw this one I noticed how it is outside of the box and I can see the amount of effort put into this. It looks so realistic! The colors used for this were perfect and I love the added touch of the butter on top. This piece really seemed to draw me in and I believe that this piece had the biggest impact on me out of every piece

I really had liked the Pen and Ink from Sophia R. in 7th grade. It was really unqiue and had caught my attention the most, I really like how she had made the Pen and Ink as I know its really hard to make with all of the detail.

I love the use of 2d media and 3d media all in one piece. It reminds me of the movie Tangled, which was one of my fav movies growing up. The huge tower being kept in the tiny mint tins makes a juxtaposition that really cool to me. Great Work!

I choose this painting because when I walked around this caught my eye because it was a painting of a dolphin with a great choice of color which made me very interested with the painting and how it makes me connect to my memories in the ocean. When I look at it my eye goes directly to the body then the face because of the colors.

This piece came to my attention, very quickly. I think it stood out a lot, since not many people used food as their idea. I could really see the background, mid ground, and foreground really well. I really liked this piece because of the colors and the way they contrast. It drew my attention because of the bright colors and interesting patterns on the shell. I like how Rudy used unusual colors, especially for a turtle. I also like how the lettering is not that bold, but that makes the turtle stand out.

This piece was made by an anonymous artist so I can't give them credit but this piece made an impact on me because for spring break I went to Greece at this exact spot. I really like the use of colors especially for the buildings, as blue and white are the signature colors. The layering of paper and the box really pulled it all together.

I found this wire piece interesting because it showed a lot of bulk and detail making it look more complete. This piece made an impact on me because I went through the whole gallery but didn't quite see anything that touched me however as I made my way to the back I saw this wire piece and in my opinion it had the most bulk which made ut harder to keep my eyes off of.

I like how this picture captures the beauty of nature and the Earth. A part of the ocean that looks untouched by man. The way the sun's rays shine across the water is mesmerizing. You can see the city in the distance truly showing how far out you are. I have so many memories on the beach, ocean, and on boats so this picture is almost nostalgic.
