I chose a park that I had not heard much about before and went on a hike there today. It's a smaller park so there is only about 2 miles of trails, but it is steep terrain through a gorgeous oak forest (how perfect!). It is an urban park located next to a major highway, so I was surprised by how much wildlife I saw, including two white-tailed deer and a coyote.
