The supply of items fluctuate throughout the year and so therefore the price for those items fluctuates along with the supply. For example, in summer things like strawberries, blueberries, or other fruits thrive and are in a lot more supply in which the price of those items go down since there is a plentiful amount of that resource. But in winter the prices go up since the supply of those items shorten due to the season making it harder to grow those items.
