The body is posed in a way that is caving in on itself and sheltering. It represents a hard time in my life when I started to loose my self from it and had to work on gaining it back. I had struggled with eating and I wanted to hide that from those around me which I tried to represent with the position the body is in. I started to improve when I got help from my family and friends and relied on them more. Overall, when I view my sculpture it reminds me that although I had an experience of using self isolation as a coping mechanism, I found a way out and pushed past it.
