Artist Statement: This is a picture of my baby brother Theodore, he looks like a healthy boy but really, he battles a condition called short gut syndrome and an autoimmune disease called neutropenia. These conditions require my family to be extra careful and wear masks to keep Theodore safe. While some people understand, others do not, and my siblings and I get bullied. I'm here to speak on behalf of my brother and those who are too scared or can't speak up for themselves. Remember you don't know what someone is going through so choose kindness and understanding.
