         <description><![CDATA[<div>New phrases were on the rise. The 20's were a new era and so different slang was made up like, "applesauce" meaning anger. So one would say, " Oh my applesauce!" when mad. Some other slang: To carry a torch- to have a crush on someone, Big six-a big man, hayburner-a gas guzzling car, moll- a gangster's girl and rag-a-muffin - a dirty/messy individual. All of these became phrases or new slang in the 20's along with others.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>After losing his character, Oswald&nbsp;in the later 20's Walt Disney needed a new character. So with the help of his wife he made up Mickey Mouse. Disney then made projects with Mickey and his girlfriend, Minnie. 1928 Disney started investigate in the new films with sound. Mickey starred in "Steamboat Willie" being the first sound cartoon. The cartoon films were a big hit and the Mickey Mouse revolution was on the rise.</div>]]></description>
