1.What happened between Father and Black Dog, and what was the end result?

    Black Dog beat Moonshadow, so Windrider went to see Black dog between the alley next to The Sleepers. Black Dog and Windrider started to fight. Windrider was armed with a hatchet and Black Dog had a sword. A man in the alley pulled out a gun Moon Shadow threw his body at him. It ended with Windrider winning and Black Dog no longer being a part of the brotherhood. Windrider and Moon Shadow had to move away because of what he did.

2. Explain the effect of the killing on the lives of Moon Shadow and his father. 

The effect of the killing on the lives is that Moon Shadow and Windrider went to beat Black Dog and it changed there lives because they had to move away from their home. They are heading to the land of the demons.

3. Why is the chapter called "Windrider's Claws”. 

     Chapter five is called “ Windrider’s Claws” because of the violence brought in the book. Black Dog was acting cruel and caused harm to Moon Shadow. Windrider wanted to talk to Black Dog and show him what he deserved. In the chapter we see the calm, cool, and collected Windrider take out his claws and fight. Hitting Lefty, remembering his “mortal enemy” lives, and fighting Black Dog are why chapter five is called Windrider’s Claws.

1. Describe Moon Shadow and Windrider’s new home? 

     It has eight sides to the house and it looked very scary to Windrider. There was an iron fence and looked like some strange beast that had to be separated from other houses. It is located in Polk street and where all of the poor demons lived. They live with a woman called Mrs. Whitlaw

2. What are some differences between the dragons the demoness knew about and the dragons Moon Shadow knew about?

The dragons Mrs. Whitlaw knew about were mean, sly, spiteful, and killed and stole gold for fun. The dragons Moonshadow knew about were wise and benevolent. They have totally different views on dragons both negative and positive. When she told about dragons it made Moonshadow and Windrider sorry for her and he wanted to explain that they were actually nice.

Moon Shadow educated Miss Whitlaw by telling her about demons and dragons he explained how dragons are good they bring rain for the crops.

2) To whom did Moon Shadow write, and what was the end result of it?

Moon Shadow wrote to the wrights he wrote a lot about that his father wants to fly in a plane.

3) What personality traits do Miss Whitlaw, Moon Shadow, and Windrider have in common? How are they different?

Miss Whitlaw, Moon Shadow, and Windrider have many personality traits in common and many that are different. Such as, they all are very kind, joyous, and quiet at times. They are also very different in terms of race, beliefs, and traits. 

     

         Moon Shadows new house is a barn, it is very rundown. The boards were already taken out by some scavenger, the panes of glass in the window have been either broken or stolen. The house has two stories but there were only a few windows on the first story. The house smelled really bad, it was also very drafty. Moon Shadows old house had a fence luckily at the barn they don't. They also live next to people with a lot of money unlike the last place he was living next to all the pore demons.

2. How does Father get Dragonwings to the top of the hill?

    DragonWings was pulled to the top of the hill by Windrider, , Moonshadow, uncle, and white Deer. It was very strenuous and hard the hill was really steep. The also had to clear the path for dragonwing which made it even harder.
