Starting cycling introduced me to a structured daily routine, the freedom of the wind in my hair with beautiful scenerary all around me and only the wind and my thoughts on my mind. It was my first step into a much larger world, setting the stage for my coming of age.

2019: Covid-19 Lockdown

In 8th grade, I was told we had to stay home for 2 weeks, which sparked my interest at the time. This later continued into 2 yeaar of encarceration, it allowed me to spend lots of tim with myself. It taught me the value of time and education and friends, taught me what mental health was and why it was so important to take care of it. Im thankful to covid.

2022: Volunteering at the Food Bank

During my sophomore year of high school, I began to volunteer at our food bank. This experience profoundly impacted my worldview, exposing me to the realities of homelessness and poverty. It developed my sense of empathy and responsibility towards my community, influencing my aspirations for social work. It allowed me to connect with people of my community. It was amazing.I met amazing people, i learned to be a better at working in a team.
