Some may think we are living the American Dream today and some even think we do not have an American Dream anymore. The American Dream is whatever you want it to be. It is your goal for what you want to do with your life. It is the thought of being happy and doing the things that make you happy. Do you have an American Dream that you can achieve? There are many versions that I look at when I see the American Dream that makes me happy. 
Many people will say being wealthy is their version of the American Dream. That is great, but I see many wealthy people that are depressed and still do not know what they want in life. Being wealthy with money is different from being wealthy with love and happiness. Being wealthy with love and happiness is much greater than any amount of money. Although we need money to survive nowadays I would rather be wealthy with love and happiness than money.
One of my American Dreams is to become an elite powerhouse athlete and participate in the CrossFit games. Not only would I achieve one of my greatest goals in life I would be happy, and I believe being happy is the greatest gift and American Dream everyone should have. After all, the American Dream is happiness and doing what makes you happy. If you are not happy and do not do what makes you happy there is no American Dream even if you have all the money in the  world.
