Lovely Bones is a wonderful book about a girl that was murdered and watching everything going down on Earth. With her family and friends trying to find her murderer along with solving their own personal problems, I found this book very interesting for it's views on the afterlife

Impulse by Ellen Hopkins is a beautifully written story about what happens when three kids are brought together in a psych ward
for different reason in the form of poetry. With stories of eating disorders, depression, attempted suicide, and drug abuse, this book is very deep and emotional and overall amazingly written.

HPatCC is an amazing sequel about what happens 18 years after the Harry Potter Series. Following the children of the original characters in the format of a play, the book was just as entertaining and fun as the Harry Potter series and it did not disappoint.

The Winner's Crime is the second book in The Winner's series. This story is in the perspective of Kestrel, the daughter of a powerful army General. When meeting Arin, a slave from the conquered Herran, everything she thinks she knows changes. When forced into marrying the prince of Valor, the strings of the emperor's plan begin to unfold. I absolutely loved this book and I can't wait to read book three.

The Game of Love and Death

The Game of Love and Death by Martha Brockenbrough is probably my favorite book this month. This book takes place in the 1960's. Love and Death pick their champions for the game and watch them until one is declared the winner. If Death wins, she gets to take both players lives. Nobody knows what happens when love wins because it has never happened. That is, until, Henry and Flora are brought into game. With Flora and Henry having different skins in a time where racism is so prominent, what will happen to these players? This book is so beautifully written with a roller coaster plot, this is 100% a book I would recommend.
