This book takes place in the 1960's. Love and Death pick their champions for the game and watch them until one is declared the winner. If Death wins, she gets to take both players lives. Nobody knows what happens when love wins because it has never happened. That is, until, Henry and Flora are brought into game. With Flora and Henry having different skins in a time where racism is so prominent, what will happen to these players?
