a sack lunch (for Wednesday)
clothing for 3 days, including the ability to dress in layers, as weather could range from 40 degrees - 80 degrees
2 pairs of shoes/sneakers comfortable for walking
a rain jacket
a hat
sun protection and bug spray
appropriate beach attire
whatever medications needed for the 3 days
basic toiletries
a small bath towel
a sleeping bag and sleeping pad (for those who will be in tents; those in cabins may also wish to bring a sleeping bag)
a day-pack
a reusable water bottle
a small flashlight/headlamp, with fresh batteries
Camera or journal for documenting the experience
any free-time activities that students would like to engage in (frisbees, games, books, etc.)
a little bit of money or a credit/debit card (the buses will stop on the way down and the way back, and students may wish to buy snacks, etc.)
NOTE: Students should try to bring only what is necessary on the trip. We will not have a lot of storage space. So 1 bag + 1 day pack
