Lots were inside concentration camps. They came in individuals or groups. Most of these individuals made a true difference in standing up to guards and the Nazi population as a whole. They were people who stood up in any way against the Nazis whether it was teaching in secret or smuggling people across borders they all made a difference.

She played a big role through the war. Her documentation of her times in the concentration camp show us how brutal it was. This ended up being her biggest resistance because where she was kept the prisoners were told they were not allowed to keep diaries or writing about their time in the Ghettos and Camps. Helga also lied about her age so she didn't get split up from her mother.
