Florida has many programs for seniors. The state’s Department of Elder Affairs offers assistance for seniors on home energy, mental health, nutrition and home care, among others. On top of these, the state has plenty of reliable home care agencies such as Ivory Home Care. 

If you wish to get the services of a Home care agency FL for your loved one, but don’t have the financial capacity, you may get financial assistance such as the following:

  • Respite for Elders Living in Everyday Families is a program which provides respite care for seniors living alone or with their family. To apply, the senior is 60 years old or above, is at risk of requiring institutional care, and has financial need.

  • Alzheimer’s Disease Initiative is a program that provides research and services for seniors with Alzheimer’s or other other forms of dementia. It does not have an age or financial requirement, but it is only available for people living with dementia.
